Overall it’s a beautiful book with nice thick pages and color through out the book. It has “current” prices, info on sets and collecting, print run numbers for the early sets etc. most if not all the info can be found online but it’s nice to have it in a physical book. How long will these prices be good? It’s hard to say. Many seem to be a good marketplace median but obviously the market fluctuates. He mentions Alpha Black Lotus NM/M being $30k most places have them priced at around $60K (10/30/18 the day the book is released)I did notice the art for the onslaught and khans flooded strand were in the wrong spots when I flipped through the book.It would have been nice if Ben Bleiweiss would have gone more in depth about MTG finance and investing and how to determine if cards are the real deal vs fakes etc. info on graded cards. ultimately I was hoping for a book more about the investing side of collecting Magic.It would also have been cool to see him include prices for the oversized cards that have been released with archenemy and planeschase, vanguard, and as promos. He did cover pretty much every other promo though which is nice.
